Security and privacy
Practical controls for the files you keep.
Cloud Storage is a browser-based file storage service. Its current security controls focus on authenticated access, workspace boundaries, session control, and protected account entry points.
Protected account entry points
Cloud Storage uses bot verification for sign-up, sign-in, and password-reset requests to reduce automated abuse before an account action reaches the authentication service.
Sessions you can review
Account sessions use secure, HttpOnly cookies. From account security settings, you can review session activity and revoke individual sessions or other sessions when needed.
Tenant-aware access
Personal and team workspaces use tenant membership and roles to control access. A user must be an authorized member of a workspace before they can access its protected resources.
Authorized uploads
The service creates authorized, time-limited upload requests after it checks the user, workspace, file size, and available storage. Uploads are handled through the web app with progress reporting.
Clear boundaries
What Cloud Storage does not claim.
Cloud Storage does not currently offer automatic device backup, automatic file synchronization between devices, public share links, or a claim of end-to-end encryption. We describe current capabilities plainly rather than treating planned or unavailable features as security guarantees.
